Yard Sale Finds

Is yard sailing a word?  I find myself using the phrase often.  Hmmm...

Well, regardless, I found some goodies while yard sailing with my sister this weekend.  I'm so thankful we share the bond of hunting for treasures.  As hard as it may seem, not everyone enjoys waking up at 6am on a Saturday and heading out, without showering, to dig through peoples junk, while fighting crowds of other devout individuals.

To forgo this ritual would mean missing out on the gorgeous wood clock above and the vintage tools below.  Sigh.

I bought these great tools from an older gentlemen who has had them as long as he could remember.  He even showed me how to use them.  How cool is that?!

I'm in love with this rusty trellis.  I adore the curled feet and the two tone paint.  I can't wait to add it to my patio.

The clock & tools will be added to my Etsy shop with the hope to further someones collection.

I love saving historic pieces from the trash & passing them along to people who will appreciate them.

enJOY!

Love your vintage finds! That clock is amazing! :) We both did awesome this weekend at yard sale hunting! I found a stack of old vintage books and thought of you... the guy was asking to much for them at a yard sale though.
I think its kind of additcting... can't wait for next weekend! ;)
