In a Pickle over Ikea
I've always been a fan of Ikea. Um, can you say meatballs? But seriously, their products are modern, affordable & versatile. In my home, we go for the eclectic look with a mix of modern, vintage & well, today. I'm in a pickle though, because I don't really need any new pieces, but I'm dying to have these new items (due to release in Aug.):

The last few orders are on the way and I'm ready for a little rest & relaxation!
It has been a busy year for Joy Frameworks and I wanted to express my sincere gratitude to everyone involved. Your support astounds me and I'm so thankful for the opportunity to be able to do what I enjoy. Thank you.
May you have a blessed Christmas!

Putting Pinterest to Work
Inspired by this tutorial, I created these t-shirt bibs for my nephew:
I'm not the best sewer, but I can get the job done. I wish I had these for my son when he was a baby!
I also baked a cake from scratch (another first). Using this tutorial, I created a delicious Pumpkin Spice Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting.
I forgot to take a picture, so I borrowed one from the tutorial.
Have you been inspired by Pinterest? Has Pinterest inspired you to create anything recently? I would love to hear how this new Pinterest craze has influenced you.

Inspired by Pinterest
I've been inspired by Pinterest a lot lately. But, I was worried that I was spending all of my time being inspired and not necessarily being productive. After watching this video on Pinterest, I decided to stop pinning and actually create something. It's a lot harder than it sounds. Pinterest is addictive.
Tomorrow I'll share some of the items I've actually created from my Pinterest boards.

Art Week Pt 2
Anyone know any good art related blogs? I've been searching for some and either there are too many to find the right ones or there just aren't many out there.
Here are a couple that I enjoy...
Would love for you to share any art related sites that you find inspiring!

Art Week Inspiration
No, this is not an official "art week", nor do I know if it even exists. But, it should.
I've been inspired lately to explore different forms of art and I thought I would share with you some people & things that have been inspiring me as of late.
I learned of Jean-Pierre Blanchard from an art blog a month or so ago and haven't been able to stop watching him. He is amazing. Seriously amazing. There are several you tube videos of him doing speed painting. This is just one of the many and they never cease to astonish me.

El Bano
Yes, we've been studying Spanish this year. Ole'!
(I'd insert the upside down exclamation point if I knew how)
I've been having fun pairing my pieces with other handcrafted items from Etsy and thought I'd tackle decorating the bathroom.
