Sometimes I wish I would have kept a tally mark for each of the ceiling tin items I've created. I think I'd be shocked if I saw them gathered in one large room. I have no idea how many I've made, it's all a bit of a blur.
What can I say though, I love working with this material. The safety mask isn't the loveliest accessory in the world, but oh well. In fact, I think it seriously scares my son a bit. He always says "Your done now, right? You can take off the mask now, right?" "Right?".
This is my latest table-top memo board & picture frame. It sits both horizontally & vertically and is perfect for pictures, recipe cards & all the little love notes!
Adorned with a vintage hardware magnet & civil war era buttons.
Sorry if you know someone who participates in reenactments, they'd probably die knowing I made them into magnets.
To each his own, right?
(now I know where my son gets it from)
A custom request from a client who also adores a little color. I just can't say no to "burnt orange".
Hope you have a wonderful day!

This one makes me thinking about a square of Hershey's chocolate.
Romantic with cream & rust...
and of course a few vintage button magnets!
Can I just say OH MY?!
Love the ornate design on this chocolate rusty beauty!
All have gone through my boot camp consisting of pressure washing, further cleaning, crimping, sanding, sometimes painting, distressing & sealing for protection. Their worn out, but it was worth the effort!
Coming soon to my shop... www.joyframeworks.etsy.com
I've loved seeing all the wonderful Book Page Wreaths in blogland and decided to give it a whirl. My dollar tree didn't have the foam wreath that many tutorials recommend so I improvised with a wicker-style wreath. I tweaked it a little to feel like fall...
I love the way it turned out! I must warn you these are a bit addictive. I think I may make a 2nd one. Maybe a 3rd? No, I'll stop at 2.
Since I'm on the subject of Book related crafts, I thought I'd share a few that have been gracing my home. I'm a bit obsessed with Anthropologie and love their window displays. After being inspired by many of their book related displays....
I incorporated a few mini book settings in my home...
May you be inspired to create something warm & fuzzy for your nest.

Welcome! I love to give new life to items of the past & have definitely taken a liking to ceiling tin. Creating has always been in my blood, a definite gift from God, but lately it has turned in to something more permanent. As I've refined my tastes and turned my focus to the things I love, instead of the things that pay, my shop has really taken off. I am a stay-at-home mom with two young lovely ones and an amazing husband. I also homeschool my kids, so my creative time usually takes place during "recess" or late at night. Hope you all enjoy! To God be the glory.
